Thank you for praying for the Cofan girl’s retreat we held this past weekend.  We had seven girls from Sinangue that were able to attend and it was wonderful to see the smiling faces and hear the laughter!  Nataly, Ramon and Ron each taught a Bible session and the girls had daily devotionals and other discussions around pertinent subjects in the Bible.

Of course there were a lot of fun activities outdoors…

Saturday the girls got to go to El Refugio in Calacali to do some team building exercises

The last night we had a campfire and hotdog roast.  When asked if they would like to do this again, their answer was, “Yes!”

God was so good to provide for this event with some generous gifts from two families that have shown a strong interest in the work here.  THANK YOU!  God was able to use this time to open some hearts for Him.  Maybe next year we can invite some of the girls from the other villages to attend.
