Dear friends,

We have so much to be thankful for in 2014 and so much to look forward to in 2015!  Thank you for your faithful prayers, support and interest in the work here in Ecuador.

We were so blessed to have our daughters Sarah and Julia here for over three weeks during Christmas.  They head back to cold, snowy Iowa tonight!  Pray for them as they start the next semester and work hard to pay off their school bills.  God has been so faithful to provide work and scholarships for them so far this school year, and we are trusting He will continue to meet the need.

Our son Ethan was not able to come to Ecuador for the holidays, but spent them with his fiancée Leanne Ridgeway and her family.  We are so thankful for Skype and the conversations we were able to share with them!  Ethan will continue working with the youth at a small church in Ritzville, WA and substitute teaching in the local school district.

This new year brings continued Bible studies various days of the week; Homeschool Teen Fellowship two Fridays-a-month; Esther and the kids teaching age 3-K Children’s Church on Sunday; Cofan village visits by Ron twice-a-month – and everything else God happens to bring our way!

We have airline tickets purchased to arrive in Chicago May 5th and we will be driving across (picking up Sarah and Julia in Iowa) to Ethan and Leanne’s wedding May 16th in Ritzville, WA.  Our plans are to visit family, friends and churches in the Pacific Northwest for about two months before heading back east to Michigan and then flying back to Ecuador on August 4th.  Please pray for us as plans come together for this time and for someone to take care of our house and animals while we are away.

If you are interested in a visit while we are in the U.S., please let us know as we are presently working on our schedule.

Rejoicing,

Ron, Esther and family
