Limo-Zab Expedition Part 2

After two days in Limoncocha, the group split with part heading down to Shell and the rest to the Cofan village of Zabalo.  This photo essay will feature three full days of exploring Zabalo.  This village is still only accessible by boat.  Ron and Sarah were able to meet with the village children twice during this trip, but there was also hikes into the surrounding jungle, and canoe trips to spot wildlife and go fishing.

Photo creds go to Ron and Sarah…

Turtle egg season.  As part of the Turtle Egg Project in Zabalo, nests are marked and eggs harvested to be put in the village “hatchery” and young turtles released at a later time.  The population of turtles in the area has grown exponentially from the project!

  • Please pray for the Cofan Christmas Celebrations coming up December 4th – 8th in six village locations.  These times include activities with the children, Bible stories, evening activities with the whole village, including an evangelistic program.
